PURPOSE: A solid-state storage device including a high resolution analog-to-digital converter is provided to include high resolution ADC coupled to a channel decoder in order to improve accuracy when determining a data value expressed by at least one cell. CONSTITUTION: A solid-state storage medium(124) includes plural cells storing data, and an ADC(Analog-Digital Converter)(122) is coupled to at least one cell. The ADC is enabled in a first or second operating mode. The first operating mode has the first number of quantization levels to determine the value stored at the cell, and the second operating mode has the second number of quantization levels to determine the value stored at the cell. The second number of the quantization levels is larger than the first number of the quantization levels. |
