IPTV SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING CONTENTS DATA FOR IPTV

PURPOSE: An IPTV system and a method for transmitting IPTV contents data are provided to reduce the load of an IPTV contents server. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of first terminals(214) is connected to a multicast network. The first terminals receive and store divided sections from a contents server. The second terminal(215) is connected to the multicast network. The second terminal receives the divided section stored in the first terminal by a P2P mode. A control server(203) controls access of the multicast network of the first terminals according to state information of the first terminals.
