PURPOSE: A television and a method for power-on are provided to enable a user to easily set an initial sound volume during power-on. CONSTITUTION: An AV(Audio Video) output unit(101) outputs AV data. A control module comprises a microcomputer and a controller. The control module receives a number key from a remote controller receiving unit during power off. The control module turns power of the television on. The control module sets initial sound volume of the AV output unit by the sound volume corresponding to the received number key. |
