PURPOSE: A system for removing sulfur oxides from combustion exhaust gas is provided to increase efficiency of sulfur oxides and to reduce costs for reducing sulfur oxides. CONSTITUTION: A system for removing sulfur oxides from combustion exhaust gas comprises a nickel ferrite reactor(101), a gamma alumina reactor(102), a sulfur reservoir(103), an exhaust gas storing unit(104), and an ammonia reactor(105). The nickel ferrite reactor is created from hydrogen sulfide with nickel ferrite catalyst. The gamma alumina reactor generates the sulfur and the exhaust gas from the hydrogen sulfide and sulfur oxides of the nickel ferrite reactor. The sulfur reservoir stores the sulfur provided from the gamma alumina reactor. The exhaust gas storing unit provides the exhaust gas from the gamma alumina reactor. The gamma alumina reactor has the reaction to the exhaust gas and ammonia water and eliminates the exhaust gas.
