PURPOSE: A method for allocating a downlink control channel and an apparatus thereof are provided to offer location information to a terminal, and to locate a common control information MAP in a proper frequency part. CONSTITUTION: A service frequency band of a system is divided into a plurality of frequency parts including a first and a third frequency parts. A transmission power level of a plurality of the frequency parts is set up. A downlink common control channel including NUS(Non-User Specific) control information is assigned to a specific frequency part. The NUM control information is transmitted through the specific frequency part.
