PURPOSE: A display substrate, a liquid crystal display device with the display substrate, and a method of manufacturing the display substrate are provided to form an insulating protrusion in the bottom part of a pixel electrode, thereby preventing texture in a boundary. CONSTITUTION: In a lower base substrate(110), a plurality of unit pixel areas(PA) is defined. An organic insulating film(140) is formed on the lower base substrate. An insulating protrusion(142) includes the same insulating material as the organic insulating film or an insulating material different from the organic insulating film. The insulating protrusion is formed on the organic insulating film correspondingly to the boundary among sub pixel areas. A pixel electrode is formed on the organic insulating film and insulating protrusion.
