PARKING ASSIST APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A parking assist apparatus is provided to guide a vehicle to a goal parking position by calculating a correction parking assist sequence before the vehicle arrives in the goal parking position. CONSTITUTION: A parking assist apparatus comprises a misalignment degree detecting unit and a vehicle moving path adding unit. The misalignment degree detecting unit detects the misalignment degree between an initial goal stop position and a real stop position. The vehicle moving path adding unit adds one or more moving paths to a reference parking assist sequence(L) based on the misalignment degree. The vehicle moving path adding unit actually forms a correction parking assist sequence from the goal parking position to the real stop position.
