PURPOSE: An apparatus for splicing transferring tapes is provided to automatically perform the connection of a transfer tape by using a clip. CONSTITUTION: A carrier tape has an accommodation space. The accommodation space accepts electronic components for a surface mounting device. A cover tape is arranged on the carrier tape. The cover tape covers up the accommodation space. A plurality of penetration holes are arranged in a first transport tape(10) and a second transport tape(10'). The first transport tape and the second transport tape are connected to each other. A clamping unit(300) comprises a pressurization member. The pressurization member pressurizes the first and second transport tape and a clip. A conveying unit(200) comprises a first and second sprocket.
