PURPOSE: A composition for skin whitening including a natural herb extract is provided to suppress melanogenesis and to use in cosmetic product for skin whitening. CONSTITUTION: A composition for the skin whitening includes 0.0001-10 weight% of extract of Wolfiporia cocos, Pogostemon cablin Bentham or Myrrha as an active ingredient. The weight ratio of Wolfiporia cocos, Pogostemon cablin Bentham or Myrrha is 1-10:1-10:1-10. The extract is obtained using water, ethanol, or butylenes glycol. The composition for skin whitening has formulation of lotion, cream, pack, foundation or makeup base.
