ROPE TESTER

A rope tester in which a fixing shaft (14) extending at a right angle to the traveling direction (A) of a wire rope (6) is arranged in front of the rope tester (8) in order to reduce noise due to vibration of the rope in the rope tester, and the rope tester (8) can be held movably in the right angle direction to the traveling direction of the wire rope (6) by making a hooked engaging piece (17) extending from the rope tester (8) to open/close in sliding or rotation engage with the fixing shaft (14).
