PURPOSE: A method for driving a light source, a light source apparatus performing for the method, and a display apparatus with the light source apparatus are provided to prevent brightness deviation due to a driving temperature during local dimming driving. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light emitting blocks included in a light source module is driven during a set initial section with maximum brightness(S200). A display panel displays an image based on original pixel data(S300). If the initial section passes by, the light emitting blocks perform local dimming driving based on pixel data(S400,S500). The display panel displays an image based on pixel data compensated based on duty ratio data(S600).
