PURPOSE: A 20s trash can is provided to open a opening/closing plate to about 90 degrees with a small motion of a user and to facilitate throwing waste by temporarily keeping waste in the upper part of the opening/closing plate. CONSTITUTION: A 20s trash can comprises a foot plate(1), a waste receptacle(3a) and opening/closing plates(4,4'). The waste receptacle is formed in a trash can lid(2'). The opening/closing plates are installed on both ends of a lower pipe(3) with axial pins. Operating rods(7,7') are installed between one side of the opening/closing plate and the foot plate in an X shape. The upper ends of the operating rods are connected to projections(9,9') of the opening/closing plates. The lower parts of the opening/closing plates are connected to an elevation piece(11) upturned with a spring. |
