PURPOSE: A hydraulic power plant of a vessel is provided to enable a vessel to generate energy without ocean current or tide by using ballast water discharged from the ballast tank. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic power plant of a vessel comprises a discharge line(110), a discharge pump(120), a water turbine(130), and a generator(140). The discharge line provides a passage through which ballast water is discharged. The discharge pump is installed in the discharge line and provides a pumping force for discharge of ballast water. The water turbine is installed in the discharge line and rotates with the ballast water discharged by the discharge pump. The generator generates electricity by the torque of the water turbine. |
