PURPOSE: An automatic steering device and a method thereof are provided to be applied in any ship regardless of the kind of ship by changing how the device is installed. CONSTITUTION: An automatic steering device comprises a support unit(210), a motor(233), a rotator(235), a connecting unit(250), and a steering gear. The support unit is drawn from a ship. The motor is fixed to the support unit. The rotator is selectively rotated with the motor and is fixed to the support unit. A connecting unit revolves with the rotator and is fixed to the rotator. The steering gear is installed in the connecting unit. |
