PURPOSE: A filling material for liquid chromatography, a manufacturing method of the filling material, and a separation · refinement or depositing · recovering method of a biopolymer using the filling material are provided to elute a biopolymer according to hydrophobicity and ion of the biopolymer, and to multiply coupling capacitance of the biopolymer including protein or peptide. CONSTITUTION: A filling material for liquid chromatography includes a substrate and ligand fixed in a substrate. The substrate is a hydrophilic substrate carrying an alcoholic hydroxyl group to the surface. The ligand is α - amino acid marked as RCH(NH2) COOH and minomethylbenzoic acid. The ligand is fixed by amide bond or urethane bond. The amount of the ligand fixed in the substrate is more than 20 mmol/l per the filling material 1l(wetting volume) for liquid chromatography.
