AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM OF AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES

PURPOSE: An air conditioning device for a vehicle is provided to make the temperature of the air discharged through a face vent the same to that of the air discharged through a console duct. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning device for a vehicle comprises an air conditioning case(30), an evaporator, a heater core, a temperature control door, and a console duct(50). A defrost vent(32), a face vent(34) and a floor vent are installed at the air conditioning case. The evaporator and the heater core are installed in the inner fluid channel of the air conditioning case. The temperature control door controls the opening level of a cool air passage and a hot air passage in the air conditioning case. The console duct is connected to the face vent and is arranged on the rear wall(42) of the air conditioning case. The console duct comprises a leaked-air shielding unit(60). The leaked-air shielding unit shields the combined portion(44) of the air conditioning case forming a floor vent.
