PURPOSE: A beta-ketoacyl acyl carrier protein synthase III (KAS III) inhibitor is provided to use as antibiotic controlling lipogenesis. CONSTITUTION: A 3,6-dihydroxyflavone compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating infectious disease by microorganism comprises beta-ketoacyl acyl carrier protein synthase III (KAS III) inhibitor compound or pharmaceutically acceptable of salt. Microorganism is gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, or fungus. Microorganism is Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, or Bacillus subtilis.
