FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: crystalliser pan comprises plate made from copper or copper alloy bolted to adapter plate or water tank, bolts being secured on flat ledges. Said ledges enter coolant gap made between crystalliser plate and adapter plate or water tank and streamlined shape directed towards coolant flow. Plate part facing coolant is furnished with cooling ribs arranged between said flat ledges and extending into coolant gap that have lengthwise sections directed at an angle to coolant flow direction. Cooling ribs are made in the form of corkscrew lines that mate flat ledges outline. ^ EFFECT: improved cooling capacity of crystalliser pan and ruling out thermal overloads. ^ 9 cl, 4 dwg
