FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to plastic reconstruction surgery of mammary gland. During primary plastics of mammary gland defect a muscle flap cut from latissimus is used together with endoprosthesis. For endoprosthesis exceeding 200 cm3 size, after separation of neurovascular muscle flap, vascular latissimus stem is extended by binding and dissection of a. circumflexa scapulae and a.thoracodorsalis branch supplying blood to anterior serratus muscle and lesser pectoral muscle. 'Muscle recess' is formed for endoprosthesis between greater pectoral muscle and latissimus by sewing the muscles together by interrupted sutures. Volume of mammary gland tissues to be removed is calculated by original formula intraoperationally. Latissimus fragment volume required for muscle recess formation for endoprosthesis and endoprosthesis volume are also calculated by specific formulae. ^ EFFECT: replenishment of missing volume of plastics material, increased mobility of transplant, reduced risk of post-operation complications, improved cosmetic result of operation, possible correction of defect in any quandrant of mammary gland. ^ 1 dwg, 1 ex |
