FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: drying method of water-logged heavy soils involves clearing of ground, construction of closed header and thinned parallel drains, planning of soil surface and deep loosening of soils at an angle to direction of drains with simultaneous application of chemical ameliorants and fertilisers. Deep soil loosening is performed in two mutually perpendicular directions at an angle of 45 to the direction of drains. ^ EFFECT: increasing drying efficiency of water-logged heavy soils.
