<p>PURPOSE: An array substrate for a transflective liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to divide defects of a light transmission unit and a reflection unit, thereby lowering the entire defect rate. CONSTITUTION: An inter-layer insulating film is formed on the front side of a gate wire. The first protective layer includes the first drain contact hole(153) which exposes the second drain electrode(143). A transmission electrode(160) contacts the second drain electrode through the first drain contact hole. The second protective layer is formed on the front side of the transmission electrode. A reflection electrode(170) is formed in a reflection unit. The reflection unit contacts the first drain electrode through the second drain contact hole(163) which exposes the first drain electrode(140).</p> |
