Method for prediction of development of chronic kidney disease in children includes analysis of blood plasma sample. In sample of blood plasma one determines levels of asymmetric dymethylarginin (ADMA), L-arginin, nitrite (NO) and nitrate (NO) and at levels of ADMA higher than 0,17 mkmol/l, L- arginin lower than 87,1 mkmol/l, NOlower than 9,03 mkmol/l, NOlower than 19.5 mkmol/l one predicts development of chronic kidley disease in children at first episode of acute kudney insufficiency. At levels of ADMA lower than 0.16 mkmol/l, L-arginin higher than 87.2 mkmol/l, NOhigher than 9,04 mkmol/l, NOhigher than 19.6 mkmol/l one predicts absence of development of chronic kidney disease in children. |
