The method involves supplying predetermined quantities of crushing residues (19) of used tires and a thermoplastic material (21) e.g. polyethylene, in predetermined quantities to a molding installation (10). The residues and the thermoplastic material are mixed within the installation at an adapted temperature ranging between 150 and 250 degree Celsius, so that the thermoplastic material is viscous. The viscous mixture is immediately molded by extrusion, extrusion blow molding, blowing, calendaring, injection and injection-compression to form a piece.
