The tank has a hull for recovered products and for creating a crest wave and a hollow wave to create pressure differences at a level of a front opening constituted by a top slot (2) and at a level of a bottom slot for generating a current driving decanted water outside the tank through a transversal bottom slot. Multiple floats are arranged to maintain the top slot at a front part of the tank in a bed of hydrocarbon patch. The top slot allows surface water and hydrocarbons to penetrate on rear face, and the bottom slot allows water elutriated to exit.
