PURPOSE: An operation input unit and an electronic device using the same are provided to improve the durability thereof by arranging a ring-shaped magnet at the upper plane of an operational dial. CONSTITUTION: A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(20) comprises a push button switch and a magnetic sensor, and is laminated on and integrated with a base. A ring-shaped holder(40) is coupled to an elastic combination body unit of the base to prevent the separation of the ring shape holder form the elastic combination body unit. A ring shaped operation dial(50) arranges the ring shaped magnet at the upper portion and is placed in the same axis core of the ring shaped holder. A ring shaped fixing unit(70) is inserted into the hole of the operation dial and fixed to the base.
