PURPOSE: An auto-stabilization method in a camera is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost of the camera by compensating a camera-shake phenomenon of an x-axis, an y-axis, and a z-axis with one gyro sensor. CONSTITUTION: A gyro sensor is installed to have a pre-set angle with respect to the x-axis, the y-axis, and the z-axis of a camera in order to calculate the angular velocity of the camera. An x-axis, an y-axis, and a z-axis actuators(63a to 63c) respectively transfer a lens unit to an x-axis, an y-axis, and a z-axis directions. The controller(60) applies the angular velocity to the trigonometric function formula in order to calculate the angular velocity of the x-axis, the y-axis, and the z-axis. The controller respectively drives the x-axis, the y-axis, and the z-axis actuators to the opposite direction of the angular velocity direction in order to obtain an image in which camera-shake phenomenon is compensated.
