METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF BREAKING POINT OF WOOD AT LOCAL MASHING ACROSS FIBER

摘要

Method for determination of breaking point of wood at local mashing across fiber includes application of static load to sample through punch. The sample is made in cylindrical form with heads that are placed in steel rings, this removes effect of friction forces on value of stresses formed. Area of cross section of working part of sample Sis taken smaller by 50 % compared to area of cross section of its heads. Due to that one provides local mashing of wood across fiber directly in cross section of working part of the sample.
