The device (100) has a magnetic plunger core (120) with a base (121) located parallel to a base wall (111) in a rectangular carcass and an opposite external portion (122). The core slides along a displacement axis (AA), so that the external portion achieves a position entirely out of the carcass and a partially entered position in the carcass. A section of the core located orthogonal to the axis is rectangular in shape. The base is provided with a transverse recess (125) crossing the core between two opposed walls, so that an air-gap (e) between the core and the carcass is not zero. The core and the carcass are made of sintered material.
