METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF STRUCTURE AND TEXTURE OF SAMPLE LOG BY CORE SAMPLE

The invention relates to industrial geology. A method for determination of structure and texture of sample log by core sample with use of digital video-camera and computer that has respective software for recognition and identification of objects according to which information on core sample surface is entered to computer by means of video-camera at core rotation with respect to its axis by 360°. This is performed by device that includes two rollers on which the core sample is installed. One of the rollers is rotated by means of electric motor and the other one provides core sample rotation without its sliding with respect to the rollers. The technical result is in simplification of the method for determination of structure and texture of sample log by core sample and decrease of time for its realization.
