A SECURITY PAPER CONTAINING RED ALGAE FIBER AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Security paper including red algae fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily distinguish authenticity of the security paper by confirming difference of raw materials with a microscope. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of security paper including red algae fiber includes the following steps: manufacturing mixed paper by mixing cotton fiber and the red algae fiber; impregnating the mixed paper in an impregnant including polyvinyl alcohol, the starch and gelatin; and drying the impregnated mixed fiber. The red algae fiber of 5 ~ 30 weight% is included in the mixed paper.
