PURPOSE: A small zoom lens is provided to correct the shaking of an image caused by a hand tremor by transferring a third lens group in a direction that crosses an optical axis. CONSTITUTION: A first lens group(G1) has positive refractive power. The first lens group includes an optical path converting member. The optical path converting member bends the optical axis to a right angle. The optical path converting member is a prism. A second lens group(G2) has negative refractive power. A third lens group(G3) has positive refractive power. The third lens group moves in a direction that crosses the optical axis. A fourth lens group(G4) positive refractive power. A fifth lens group(G5) has positive refractive power.
