ZOOM CAMERA AND ZOOM PRESET CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A zoom camera and a zoom preset control method are provided to more efficiently and rapidly perform a zoom preset operation. CONSTITUTION: A memory(26) stores at least 2 trace curves deciding a location of a focus lens and a zoom lens. A microcomputer(24) confirms the locations of the preset focus lens and the preset zoom lens. The microcomputer calculates a spacing rate with the nearest trace curve. The microcomputer performs a zoom preset operation transferring the focus lens and the zoom lens based on the calculated spacing rate.
