The method involves introducing impurities collecting liquid (3) in a pipeline (1), and scraping the liquid from an inner surface (13) of the pipeline by a liquid scraping tool (2) to collect impurities (10) on the inner surface of the pipeline. A relative movement between the scraping tool and the pipeline is imposed by driving the liquid scraping tool to move in the pipeline to perform scraping of the liquid, where the liquid scraping tool is driven by aspiration, propellant fluid (4) or by compressed air injected into the pipeline.
