PURPOSE: A broadcast processing device and a control method thereof are provided to supply voice guidance related to a broadcast processing device in case of a voice guidance mode. CONSTITUTION: A voice guide providing unit(160) provides a voice guidance related to a broadcast processing device. A voice output unit(140) outputs voice data included in a broadcast signal and the voice guidance. A controller(150) determines whether a current mode is a voice guidance mode outputting the voice guidance. If the current mode is the voice guidance mode, the controller controls a video processing unit and a display unit to stop displaying video data. The controller controls the voice guide providing unit to provide the voice guidance. |
