Disclosed is an inkjet printer which employs a waveguide, wherein the ink ejected onto a medium is dried more rapidly. An inkjet printer in which the ink ejected onto the medium is dried by microwaves supplied to the interior of the waveguide, wherein a reflection termination member (50) which is terminated to reflect the microwaves supplied to the interior of the waveguide is provided at a terminal member (37) positioned on the termination side of the waveguide. When microwaves are supplied to the interior of the waveguide from a magnetron (43), the microwaves propagate in the waveguide, and are then reflected by the reflection termination member (50) in the terminal member (37), and again propagate in the waveguide in the opposite direction. Consequently, the ink ejected onto the medium is dried by the microwaves reflected by the reflection termination member (50) in addition to the microwaves directly supplied from the magnetron in the waveguide, and the ink can be dried more rapidly.
