The invention relates to port handling operations. A method of transhipment of coal from a railway train to the ships includes unloading open-box cars with coal by means of a car dumper, batching the required grade of coal and coal transportation through the territory of the terminal to a quay, loading coal by ship loader on the ships. In the case handling coal in the port area is carried out by transport flows operating independently on each other using a handling complex, which contains two lines of parallel conveyers, which converge in transfer towers at various levels with possibility to ensure flow of coal in different directions simultaneously. Coal during its transportation is crushed in hammer and roller crushers with adjustment of crushing parameters, is cleaned from ferromagnetic inclusions by belt magnetic separators in crushing complex; in the case batching coal with required grain size is carried out in separate sections of closed train. In winter, the cars with coal are heated by infrared gas burners in the enclosures during movement of trains on a car dumper. Loading coal on the ships is carried out by ship loaders serving the ships on both sides of a pier. This ensures continuity in handling, preserving natural high quality characteristics coal while achieving high environmental safety. |
