PURPOSE: A radioactive material carrying container is provided to maintain an adiabatic function of a carrying container without an additional adiabatic material by forming an air layer outside of the carrying container. CONSTITUTION: A carrying container(100) comprises a container body and a cover. The container body is comprised of an inner shell and an outer shell. A receiving unit is formed inside the inner shell to receive the radioactive material. The cover is combined with the upper side of the container body. A lead shield body is filled inside the cover. An upper shock absorber(200) covers part of the lateral side and the upper side of the carrying container. An air layer is formed between the upper shock absorber and the side of the carrying container. A lower impact absorber(300) covers the lower side and the lateral side of the carrying container.
