PURPOSE: A stud band for a shot mark of an anchor chain and a short marking method for an anchor chain using the same are provided to simply form a shot mark on the common link stud of an anchor chain without corrosion or loss. CONSTITUTION: A stud band for a shot mark of an anchor chain forms a shot mark on the common link stud of an anchor chain. The stud band is made of a metal spring wound into a circular shape and pressed onto the exterior of the common link stud of the anchor chain by the elasticity.
