PURPOSE: An auto focusing camera device driven by liquid crystal is provided to improve the exterior of a portable terminal by displaying various patterns using a liquid crystal panel installed on the rear surface of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: An auto focusing camera device driven by liquid crystal comprises a liquid crystal panel(20), a cameral part(10), and a lens part(260). The camera part is arranged in the bottom of the liquid crystal panel. The lens part is arranged inside the liquid crystal panel and is formed in a concave lens shape. The liquid crystal panel has a lower substrate(240) and an upper substrate(270). The lower substrate is arranged on the top of the camera part. The upper substrate is arranged on the top of a liquid crystal layer arranged on the top of the lower substrate.
