The present invention describes a foldable ladder, which comprises at least two step units having a couple of arms (2) arranged parallelly therebetween. Each arm is formed by an elongated section (2') having a first perforation (12) at the tip portion thereof; a semi-circular widen section (9) is located at the opposite portion of the tip, which has a second perforation (1) at the central portion thereof; a cut (13) is diametrically opposite the elongated section 2', a groove (8) being located at the end portions thereof in a perpendicular manner. A transversal step (6) is perpendicularly attached to the arms of a step unit, which has, at each end portion thereof, a cavity for housing a shoulder screw (4). A sliding piece (3) is located about the elongated section (12') and slid therethrough; where said sliding piece (3) includes a couple of flanges (15) protruded in an opposite relationship with regard to the channel (14) thereof, the flanges being useful for vertically fixing the la dder, where a couple of hooks (11) are attached at the outermost step unit by means of a shoulder screw (4).
