The bag (1) has a compression unit constituted of tightening and compression links (10, 11) and a set of rings (23, 24) to compress a longitudinal contour (4) of a flexible envelope (2) to reduce volume of the envelope based on articles contained in the envelope. A contracting unit contracts an opening (5) of the envelope to close the envelope. A single and simultaneous control unit is arranged between the compression unit and the contracting unit to concurrently compress the contour and reduce the opening by a single traction on ends of the links. A flap is arranged above the opening. The contracting unit is formed by a conduit (16) including two inlet openings (25, 26) arranged near another set of rings (23b, 24b).
