The device (1) has a tubular body (2) whose distal end (2A) is introduced into a respiratory tract of a patient, where the tube has a longitudinal passage and an auxiliary longitudinal channel transporting a respiratory ventilation gas (G) towards the tract. A removable protection unit (10) retrieves body fluid e.g. blood, from the patient, where the unit is propelled in the passage in direction of a proximal end (2B) of the body during compressions of a thoracic cage. The unit is mounted at the proximal end, and includes a bacteriological-nuclear-chemical type antimicrobial filter (14). The passage connects the tract to free air.
