METHOD FOR MOVING ELECTRIC CABLE IN VERTICAL DIRECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for vertically moving electric cables that moves an electric cable efficiently by preventing interference between the electric cable to be moved and crossing objects under the electric cable.

SOLUTION: The method for vertically moving electric cables is used to move one or the other of a plurality of electric cables stretched between steel towers to steel towers higher than the steel towers. When an electric cable E is moved to destination steel towers, each upper sheave 4 for move is developed along an electric cable H which is closest on the upper side. Each operating rope 6 passes through each roller 14 for an operating rope. One end of each hoisting rope 8 is fixed to each operating rope 6. The other end of each hoisting rope 8 is hung down from each guide roller 12. The electric cable E is provided with each lower sheave 5 for move to be hung via the hoisting rope 8. One end of each operating rope 6 is pulled so as to mount the electric cable E at proper parts in the destination steel towers by raising each lower sheave 5 for move via each hoisting rope 8 while raising the electric cable E.
