<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a system error due to a memory access when shifting to a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus with a plurality of control boards having a main control board for controlling the processor as a whole, the main control board has: a processing section for processing each function section provided on the main control board; a storage means used in common by other control boards; a terminal power supply shutdown means for shutting down power supply of a terminal resistor inserted in a memory signal line of the storage means; and a functional section power supply shutdown means for shutting down power supply other than the storage means and part of the processing section. The image processing apparatus includes: an energy saving transiting means for shutting down power supply of each section and transiting to a standby state; and a signal transmitting/receiving means for transmitting and receiving a signal so that other control boards do not access the storage means when transition to the energy saving is performed by the energy saving transition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
