<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path setting method and system for setting an appropriate waiting time at the start point node of path setting, and communication apparatus used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus including a path setting function based on autonomous distributed control includes: a timer section 106 for clocking a path setting waiting time WaitTime; and control means (102, 107) in which, when the present apparatus is the start point node of a path, the timer section is started by transmitting a path setting request message to the end node of the relevant path and when a processing time calculation value required for path setting is received from a node on the path within the path setting waiting time WaitTime, the path setting waiting time WaitTime is prolonged on the basis of the processing time calculation value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
