<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof rubber bushing which can be easily pressed in a metallic mating member in a resin-made outer cylinder and can be brought into a firmly fixed state in either an axial direction or rotational direction after press-in. <P>SOLUTION: In a vibration-proof rubber bushing 10 including a cylindrical resin-made outer cylinder 12, a rigid inner cylinder 14 and a rubber elastic body 16, a pair of engaging projections 36 is provided on an intermediate part between axial both ends of the outer cylinder 12 so as to be engaged with engagement recesses 42 of cylindrical mating members 38 in the axial direction and rotational direction in a position fixing manner, respectively. In the engaging projection 36, a tip and a base end on a projected side have diameters smaller and larger than the diameter of the engagement recess 42, respectively. The outer peripheral surface of the engaging projection 36 is taken as a tapered surface 44 having a shape whose diameter gradually enlarges toward the base end from the tip. When the engaging projection 36 is engaged into the engagement recess 42, the tapered surface 44 is brought into contact with and pressed in a corner part K on the inner peripheral surface side of the mating member 38 over the entire circumference based on an elastic restoring force of the outer cylinder 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
