PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation facility capable of positively detecting whether or not a ventilation fan is actually being operated in a state of transmitting an operation start command to the ventilation fan, and achievable even in an existing kitchen facility or cookroom facility. SOLUTION: The ventilation facility includes the ventilation fan, a communication-control module for transmitting the operation start command of operating the ventilation fan, and a measurement mechanism part capable of measuring measurement information relevant to change caused by operation of the ventilation fan. After transmitting the operation start command to the ventilation fan from the communication-control module, if the measurement information measured by the measurement mechanism part is the same as operation state measurement information measured in a state of operating the ventilation fan, the communication-control module outputs ventilation fan operation information.
