PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door check apparatus capable of obtaining smooth sliding without damaging wear resistance even when a foreign substance intervenes on sliding faces, and generating no sliding friction noise. SOLUTION: The door check apparatus comprises: an arm 2 fixed so as to be able to pivot in the horizontal direction at a part of a pillar A of a car body, and having an engaging part 23; a case 3 which is fixed to a part of a door D and the inside of which the arm 2 penetrates; a pair of upper and lower shoes 5 slidably press-contacting on both upper and lower faces of the arm 2 by the action of a pair of upper and lower elastic members 4 housed in the case 3 and provided in a back part thereof. The both surfaces of the arm 2 are made of a synthetic resin, and the pair of the upper and lower shoes 5 are formed with a polyacetal resin composition constituted by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a polyacetal resin, 1-10 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, and 0.3-8 pts.wt. of a lubricating oil agent.
