<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a rotating electrical machine for welding a pigtail, drawn out of a brush, to a terminal plate with high workability and reliability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pair of brushes 16 are provided radially at specified angles at a bottom piece 13b of a brush holder stay 13 formed like a bottomed tube. The pigtail joints 17c of a pair of terminal plates 17, to which pigtails 16b drawn out of each brush 16 are to be welded, are provided along the bottom piece 13b, between the pair of brushes 16 at the bottom piece 13b. A supporting slit 13f for supporting a jig 18 which pushes the pigtail 16b against the pigtail joint 17c in welding the pigtail 16b, is formed outside a section where each pigtail joint 17c is arranged, at the tubular piece 13c of the brush holder stay 13.
