PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip securing space for performing the processing of suture or the like by inverting an object to be held such as a blood vessel from the front side to an opposite side for instance without twisting it or turning it over. SOLUTION: The clip 2 includes: a pair of holding pieces 4a and 4b configured such that the distal end side can be opened and closed; an energizing member for energizing the holding pieces 4a and 4b in the direction of closing the distal end side; and a pair of clamping pieces 7a and 7b provided on the distal end parts of the holding pieces 4a and 4b, to be opened and closed following up the opening/closing operations of the opening/closing operation on the distal end side of the holding pieces 4a and 4b.
